Customers should verify processors are C Revisions for 266MHz FSB. If processor is B Revision the FSB is only 200MHz.This motherboard has 2 DDR DIMM sockets and 3 SDRAM DIMM sockets. It supports a maximum of 2GB of DDR or 3GB of SDRAM but DDR and SDRAM cannot be used at the same time.Memory configurations for Windows 95/98/ME with greater than 256MB, require adjusting the Vcache settings as outlined by Microsoft article Q108079.

How much memory your Windows OS will recognize depends on which version of Windows you are running. 32-bit versions of Windows will see (and utilize) only 3GB or 3.5GB. To utilize more memory, install a 64-bit version of your OS. More information about OS memory maximums can be found here.
