I used Crucial's memory selection tool to determine which part number to purchase. I swapped out two 2gb cards for two new 4gb cards in my mid-2010 MacBook Pro, and experienced absolutely no problems. Booted up right the first time. This is the experience every buyer can appreciate.

More than quadrupled memory yet no visible improvement in speed for even a single application, and no improvement in boot-up time. Very, very disappointed in what was hoped for versus actual performance. No improvement in multi-tasking speed either. Save your money for their memory chips, as far as I'm concerned a real rip-off.
