I actually bought 2 drives for 2 refurbished Lenovo SFF I picked up cheap.
The BX line 120Gb and a 480Gb
So.. both transfers were on basically "virgin" systems...
The Acronis software did not recognize the BX120... I used a free software called Macrium Reflect. That went just fine on the Lenovo M58.
However, Acronis worked just fine on the BX480... on a Lenovo M90.
Granted, neither of these PCs are powerhouse by today's standards, but they meet my needs for email, Quickbooks and web surfing The SSD replacement provides a noticeably "nimble" feel to everything...
The Acronis software was pretty useless. It was OK if the source drive could fit onto the ssd but once you tried excluding folders or files the software told me I needed 15 000 000 Terabytes more space on my ssd!!! I tried many times but it always told me I needed ridiculous figures of space. SO I had to revert to moving folders off my drive to another to make it fit.
The drive itself works fine BUT the quoted read write speeds appear to be wildly off.
