Q:Is this ram suitable for HP Pavilian dv 6000, 1.73 Ghz Intel Core Duo T2250 processor, 32bit system. I know that I can update my Ram only upto 2gb
A:This part is not compatible as you require 2X1GB. The link below is the correct part to order:
Q:My computer has 2 slots with 1 GB of RAM each (not Crucial). Can I substitute only one of them with this model? (I know the computer supports up to 3GB). Thank you.

Q:Will this work on MacBook Pro with 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo? This seems to have all the same specs but the part number is different than what is found for that machine on this site.
A:Yes this part will be fine for your MBP. When you go through the actual system on our website it will show a small part number such as CT687591 but what you actually receive is a techincal part number and if you ordered the 2GB option through the system link you would be sent CT25664AC667.

Q:Will this product work on a macbook from mid 2007. Model number: MB062LL/A

I purchased CT51264BF160BJ new from Amazon few months ago which seemed to have normal package/sticker and runs okay.
However, MemTest86 identifies it as Super Talent CT51264BF160BJ.M8F in the PC (JEDEC SPD 1.0).
Does this make sense - was there some temporary issue in manufacturing week 7 of 2014 where Crucial programmed Super Talent's info (module rev x4444, mfg loc 5)?
My more recent purchase of CT51264BF160BJ from NewEgg shows SPD 1.1 with reasonable Crucial info.
Both SODIMMs have the same number of micron chips but the recent chips are slightly smaller.
The memory I need has been out of stock for a really long time. Is there anything else that will work? Is there any way to cross reference Crucial kit part numbers (often available online at newegg.com or amazon.com) to be sure they are compatible before purchasing?
Thanks for your message.
I have looked in to the ASRock 775Dual-VSTA system and we recommend that the maximum memory it can take is 2GB in total. That's 2x1GB modules.
You said that you currently have 3GB of memory installed. Sometimes you can go above the manufacturers recommendation but there is no guarantee that your system would work with 4GB installed.
I would be more than happy to recommend a single 2GB module for you. What I would need first would be some details about your existing 2GB module. This is so I can match it as much as possible when recommending memory.
On the existing memory module there will be a sticker that gives you details about the speed of the memory module. It will say something like "PC2-6400". Can you confirm what it says?
Once I have that information I can look at recommending memory that matches the speed of your existing memory. However, as we don't advise this system can support 4GB I cannot guarantee that it will work. All our memory does come with a lifetime warranty and also a 45 day return period.
If you do have any other questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you for contacting us today. I pulled up the link to the available upgrades and it appears that the real difference between the parts is the speed.
This part is basic Crucial PC3-12800 RAM. It's going to be the slower upgrade for your system, but would still be a great upgrade for your system.
This memory is basic Crucial PC3-14900 RAM. This is going to be the fastest upgrade for your system.
This part is Ballistix Sport. It has the same speed as the Crucial PC3-12800 RAM, but has an added heat spreader. Our Ballistix line is made for those are heavy computer users, gamers, graphic designers, etc.
This is the Ballistix Sport version of PC3-14900 RAM.
Please let us know if you have any other questions about these different types of RAM. Hopefully this helps clear up the differences
