Hi there, I wish to enquire about the compatibility of RAMs for this laptop as I am planning on upgrading it to 16GB due to my power usage.
However, in Singapore, the distributor only sells the RAM here
is this the same as
because i am not sure if
is compatible with Lenovo z400 when using the compatibility tool... its confusing for me.
I am planning to get 2 sticks of these instead of the 16GB KIT (8GB x 2) as my country doesnt seem to sell it
I'm trying to find out some more specs for this part:
Specifically, I need to know what LRDIMM Register is being used on this part, I'm hoping it's one of the InPhi GS02A ones like listed on:
But I see that Part number different from what was ordered, so it's hard for me to know.
Being able to download a copy of the SPD would be great as well.
I'm looking at getting a new pc, and went to check what kind of ram I need, but I think the information is wrong.
The specification for the pc state is takes ram running at 1333mhz, yet the advisor tells me to get 1600mhz.
The pc is a gigabyte Brix GB-BXA8-5545.
Hope someone can help clarify.
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ga-z87n-wifi/CT4392311 is supposed to work with that motherboard - I don't see how to get the equivilent part number to match them up with what I got (from the original post) but the specs look that same on first glance. Any thoughts crucial reps?
