Comments about Crucial 16GB kit (8GBx2) Ballistix 240-pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800:
I had DDR2 Crucial Ballistix memory in my old build. I upgraded my machine a few months ago and bought this RAM kit. I wouldnt buy from any other manufacturer, these sticks are the absolute best!

Thank you for contacting us today. You should have no issues installing the 1.35v memory with the 1.5v Hynix memory. Our memory is dual voltage and will run at 1.5v if installed with other 1.5v memory. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns about this upgrade.
I bought a Gateway LT40 Netbook and want to increase the RAM. The computer came with 1GB of RAM and the Crucial scan indicated that I can increase the RAM to 2GB DRAM. I was wondering what would happen if I installed 3GB or 4GB of DRAM? I know that the result would not be good but I am wondering what the unfortunate results would be? Thanks for any and all replies.
I have a Dell Optiplex 760 Mini tower and the Crucial websute lists CT915213 as the 4 gig kit. In my parts stock I have a Crucial package with the CT2KIT25664AA800 part number.
The specs appear to be identical but I don't want to take a chance if there is an incompatability.
Is there anyway to cross reference these numbers? they are both crucial parts.
I just purchased 4gb memory to replace the 1gb memory so I would have total of 6gb. Started with 3gb
NOW, I dont know how to tell which is the 1gb and which is the 2gb so I can switch out the 1gb for the 4gb.
I know it is better to do both at once and not do only one, but I couldnt afford it.
That said, how will I know which to take out?
