      Comments about Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) Ballistix 240-pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-14900:

I use this memory in a general purpose PC that I use for important tasks, such as my financial dealings and records. I also use it for common everyday tasks (browsing, email, games), but not too much for multimedia. I would double the memory amount for that. I demand stability on this PC, because of the finacial work, yet I also want fast performance. This memory delivers both. I tried another pair of DIMM's that were rated faster, but they actually had less throughput and were not 100% stable unless they were slowed down or latency times were increased. The XMP profile (for Intel) provided in the SPD data works great, even though I'm running an AMD FX processor.

This memory works great. I've had some problems with overclocking the RAM though, problems occur as low as 1900Mhz
