I have two sets of CT2KIT51272AF80E in my workstation and one of the DIMM's in one set has gone bad. Are these covered under warranty by chance? I have the original packaging and it says there's a 'Limited lifetime warranty' on it. I purchased these through NewEgg.com but they aren't any help since it's been longer than a year since purchase.
Thanks for the help!
Dell have stated (as does Crucial) that the Dell Dimension 9200 XPS 410 (which are bascially the same) only takes 4 x 1GB modules; a maximum of 4GB)
I have read on many forums that 4 x 2GB wsill work. So I purchesd 4 x 3GB mamory modules from Crucial and they worked pefectly.
Ran my PC all weekend (48hours) with 8GB without a glitch and a good performance increase.
my scan shows that my PC has a 1Gb and a 1mb memory modules installed. Also that it has a memory limit of 8192MB. Does this mean I cannot install, for example a 1GB module. Ideally I would install two 2gb modules at least. Any help with my options here would be helpful.
I would like to upgrade ram on my Asus P8P67 LE mobo. I've looked into the configurator on the site but i get different model numbers of that in my store, altrough the specs are the same.
Will following kits fit my mobo and which one would you recommend me? I'm using my computer for audio production and i'm not overclocking it.
got a rare bluescreen 0x0000001a "Memory Management".
My Motherboard is a Gigabyte H97 HD3. (Bios F4)
The Crucial Ram is a 8GB-Kit PC3 - 12800 CL9, 1.5v
I tested both sticks (together) with memtest for 12 passes overnight (0 errors),
Does it make sense to test each on its own ?
Are these components incompatible ?
