easy to use

Only criticism (and it's very minor) is that the product and copying disc is slightly different from video but easier to use. It did all the work!

The kit contains a USB/SATA cable which is fine, and a CD that isn't. The box refers the user to Crucial's website for the instructions for use. Unfortunately, the website has a quick-start guides for EZ Gig III (Windows) and SuperDuper (Mac) but nothing for Acronis True Image HD which is on the CD. The True Image CD is in fact a bootable image using what looks like a Windows kernel and doesn't recognise Mac hardware, so you can't use the trackpad/mouse.
Calling Crucial support in the UK revealed that they didn't know they were doing this but promised to email me instructions on how to clone my old disk onto my new one using Disk Utility, which rather defeats the purpose of buying an 'Easy Laptop Install Kit'.
I can't comment on how good this kit is for Windows users, but for a Mac users it's just an expensive cable and a couple of hours of confusion I could have done without.

This item is good in the fact it works however it does not come with any guide. This was a major issue for me as all the guides on the crucial website were for a different product. It is easy to use once you know that the disc needs to be in the drive prior to booting (ie not launched from the desktop). But without this information it is a fundamental flaw. I had to google for help.

I was excited to start the process of moving to a sad however this install kit was not very good at all. I followed the guides on the crucial website but the first and fatal flaw was that the disc only had one .ini file there was no setup executable as suggested by the guide and I ended up having to download the software myself from the Capricorn website. Very disapponting
