Using 64 bit mode and apps (Logic Studio) now stable on the Mac Pro with 8Gb RAM and loads of samples (e.g NI Komplete 7). And the price has been reduced recently!!!

By adding 2x2GB Crucial memory to existing 4GB in 2x2.8GHz Mac Pro I obtained significant speed improvement although memory was never previously maxed out. Installation totally without problem: powered down, opened enclosure, inserted memory, closed up: within 8 minutes back on-line.

Installed quickly on my new Mac Pro following the instructions in the Mac handbook (you need to move an existing module from one card to the other). Very straightforward to install, seated securely. A system check using profiler and Tech Tool Pro showed the RAM to be working perfectly.

Every day I run my Mac with photoshop, indesign, illustrator, dreamweaver, safari, skype, mail, word, well, you get the message... At this price I have managed to RAM my Mac to 13gb and I never suffer any from lack of RAM or processing power, and all for a budget that is well in my range. Unbeatable!
