For a start there is better shock resistance, much lower power consumption, considerably less heat dissipation and far greater reliability. However it has a great advantage over the first generation MLC NAND SSD drives as well; as it is considerably faster. The first MLC drives would struggle to maintain a constant read speed of 20MB/s, while the Crucial SSD is 6 times faster than that." Full review
