Crucial Gizmo! Hi-Speed USB Flash Drive User Guide
Windows Me, 2000, or XP users
Mac OS 9.1 and up users
Windows Me, 2000, or XP users: Your system supports USB. You will not need to install a driver. Proceed as follows:
- Remove the protective cap from the Gizmo! drive.
- Connect the Gizmo! drive to any USB port on your computer either directly to your computer or by using a USB extension cable.
- The Gizmo! drive icon will appear in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
- The Gizmo! drive is ready to use just like any other removable device connected to your computer. To start using, double-click the My Computer icon on your Windows desktop.
- Double-click the Gizmo! drive Removable Drive icon. The drive letter assigned to the Gizmo! drive depends on the configuration of your computer.
- Transfer files to and from the Gizmo! drive as you would with an ordinary disk drive. Drag and drop files to and from the Gizmo! drive and your PC's hard drive, floppy drive, or other removable media.
CAUTION: The indicator light on the front of the Gizmo! drive will illuminate when the device is transferring data. Do not remove the Gizmo! drive during data transfer; data loss may occur.
- To remove the Gizmo! drive, make sure that the drive is not transferring data. Click on the Remove Hardware icon on the right side of the task bar to stop the Gizmo! drive. You can now safely remove the Gizmo! drive.

- Transfer files to and from the Gizmo! as you would with an ordinary disk drive. Drag and drop files to and from the Gizmo! drive and your computer's hard drive, floppy drive, or other removable media.

Warranty Information
It's rare for customers to need to return their Gizmo! drive. However, if you do have a problem, we want to make receiving a refund or exchange as easy as possible.

We'll give you an RMA (return material authorization) number that will help us track your return and make sure you receive your refund or exchange as soon as possible. We'll even pay for return shipping if it's our fault.
