act of backing up and restoring files on your laptop computer.*
Lexar auto-backup software lets you set up a schedule (every day, week, or month, etc.) and choose what specific files or folders, or files within a folder, you'd like to
backup. What's more, the software allows you to set filters based on file type, and gives you the option to set custom filters. You can also choose to perform manual
backups, which can be done at any time with the click of the mouse.
The software also offers a convenient incremental backup feature. After the initial backup, the software has the ability to automatically detect which files and folders
have been created or changed since the last backup, and then only backs the new or updated files. This greatly accelerates the process for all subsequent scheduled backups.
The Lexar ExpressCard SSD supports backups on multiple computers, letting you establish different backup settings for each computer. Because the backups are saved directly
to the ExpressCard SSD, you can ensure your files are safely archived and retrievable on any laptop using your ExpressCard SSD.
