Comments about Crucial 32GB kit (8GBx4) Ballistix 240-pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800:

My pc is: Asus Rampage Extreme IV, Win7 Professional, CPC i7 3960x 3.3ghz. When I had this video editing comnputer built by http://www.performancepc.net (who I do NOT recommend, they installed 2 sticks of Muskins 1300 mzh ram (total 16gb). Maximun was 64. I noticed that my machine was not running as fast as it should & it ran hot. So I order & installed 24 more of the Muskin rams, but Windows 7 would not recognize it, monitor kept flicker & the PC would shut down on & off by itself. The maker of my pc gave me ill advise because those rams were 1300. So I visited this crucial website to find out what ram would work. So I bought this ram & notice that it went in slots easily like it had wd40 on it, where mushkins went in ruff like the cut of their ram was not cut smooth. Finally w/these crucial rams my machine RECOGNIZE that it exist as a total of 32 gb. I do plan to buy the other 32 gb sometime day. Oh 1 other thing, be sure to install 1 ram at a time & do not mix mushkin rams (such as the 1 I had, with the crucial ram because windows stall & not open at bootup.
