      Comments about Crucial 4GB Ballistix 240-pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800:

The RAM was a great improvement and made video conversions much easier especially if other applications were running at the same time. It also repaired my computer freeze-ups and reboots. Not so great was the fact that at first Win 7 Home Pro failed to recognize 8 of the 16 gb. It seemed to be a Win 7 problem or a BIOS problem. I eventually tried various things from internet forums...none worked. Finally I depowered everything and forced a cold boot. This worked and I still don't know why. Win 7 then saw all 16 gb of the RAM.

        Comments about Crucial 4GB Ballistix 240-pin DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800:

I upgraded my computer's memory primarily for the many multiple applications and browsing tabs I have open at once. I do a lot of multitasking with work and school and this upgrade was totally worth it.

Also, in my free-time I play some of the latest games and I want to explicitly state how pleased I've been with this purchase.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I've got no complaints and I've only seen performance improvements.

Last, I think my favorite part of the purchase process was the tool Crucial offers on their site that will scan your machine and tell you exactly what upgrades are compatible (and guaranteed) to work with your system. That was extremely helpful.

I had a great experience with this product. I had to over clock to make it work and when I called for the memory information, they were clear on what values I needed. They won't help you over clock, but they give the memory settings needed! Great support...!

I replaced two faulty sets of a competitors memory with 16Gig of Ballistix in my Asus Sabertooth x58. Booted up without an issue first time and every time since. Built-in Heatsinc keeps them running cool in a moderately overclocked I7 2500k. My problems are over.
