Comments about Crucial 1GB Upgrade for a HP Pavilion a735w System:

I needed to upgrade my wife's 3-yr old HP desktop. It only had 512 MB RAM. It's always a dicey proposition finding compatible RAM and not ending up having to dump the old RAM. Crucial's RAM tool did a great job identifying the existing RAM and suggesting the appropriate new RAM to buy. I put the new RAM into slot 0 and the old RAM into slot 1. No problems whatsoever. The HP immediately recognized both sticks for 1.5 GB RAM. Wife happy... ;-)
