            • Startup time much faster

Comments about Crucial 1GB Upgrade for a HP Pavilion a710n System:

My 5 year old computer with 512 mb of ram was taking just under 15 minutes to startup, even with a registry cleaner, updates, disk cleanup and defragging. It was (I know now) also a bit sluggish on most applications. After installing the 2 gigs of ram from Crucial, the startup time was 4 minutes and it is incredibly fast. I gave it a trial by fire after installing the ram by opening two browsers and running two videos at the same time. It worked flawlessly. I highly recommnend a ram upgrade to anyone with an older computer that has slowed down despite basic maintenance.

I needed the "max" speed for my PC, but was disappointed that it doesn't seem to be much faster than before. They were easy to install, I've been upgrading my PC, just put in a new driver, etc. But I have the limit on my model so this is as far as I can go. Going to try a few more "tweaks" to it to see if it will help it along better. [...] Thanks
