Comments about Crucial 512MB Upgrade for a Dell Dimension 2400 Series System:

I am not computer saavy, however, when my tech person suggested I needed more Ram capacitiy and directed me to Crucial, I set to the task and it was extremely easy...Ordering was simple, product arrived quickly, and my Tech immediately installed it for me...It doesn't get any easier than that..
I can't speak to the performance of the part because it hasn't been installed but a short time. However, the other factors in the ordering process point, to excellence so I feel this product must have integrity.
      Thank you Crucial....

My older machine was choking on too many applications running at the same time. By raising the RAM to 1 Gig I can keep using the computer a few more years.

I was helping a friend get an old Dell PC running with a newly installed DSL connection. The PC was a dog with only 256M of memory, running WinXP but missing years of updates. Got it up a going and all updates installed but felt that a bit of an upper on the RAM would help greatly at a reasonable cost. Crucial's website was perfect for selecting the correct RAM matching what I needed to a reasonable cost. The part was sent out efficiently and worked perfectly. Also got great bonus points with my friend ... since I was helping her out with her son's PC.
