Comments about Crucial 512MB Upgrade for a Apple iBook (500MHz) System:

I bought this to improve performance of my older Apple iBook G3 machine which only had 192 MB of memory. I found videos on the web to guide me through the installation which was actually easier than I expected even though I was installing other upgrades too. I think the total of 576 MB I now have means that I can keep two or three applications open at the same time without paying a performance penalty. Switching between them is a lot quicker now. I just wish I could go all the way up to a gigabyte but unfortunately I have now maxed out this particular laptop's memory and the limiting factor is now it's CPU, not its memory.
