A friend of mine was complaining about her computer being slow and had a hard time opening her pictures. I had her drop it by and made sure it was not infected. It turned out the computer- the Dell laptop had only 512MB of RAM with a maximum capacity of 2 GBs. I went on Crucial's site, downloaded and installed a software which told me exactly the type of RAM needed. the 2GB RAM cost [...].I slapped thm in her computer, restarted the machine which recognized the RAM addition rightr away. Now my friend is enjoying her machine- thanks to Crucial.

Neither memory cards worked. I couldn't even turn on my computer when they were installed, and I tried every different way to install them, with my friend who does this for a living helping me. When I called Crucial, I was told the wait time was over an hour and to call back later. I was TRULY disappointed with the service, especially after my friend RAVED about it. I just want my money back :(

My laptop came with approx. 700 MB of memory. Having multiple programs open at one time (which I usually do) began to slow my laptop. I ordered the second highest upgrade I could, 1 gig, now it is like brand new.
