Comments about Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) Upgrade for a Apple Mac Pro (4-core Xeon 5400 Series) System:

I bought four 8GB kits to max the memory in my Mac Pro 8-core for efficient video editing. With 12GB in the box previously, transcoding a one hour concert video for dvd at high quality settings in Premiere Pro / Encore (CS5) took nine hours. Now it's down to three hours - an important productivity boost. The Mac Pro design with slide-out trays makes installation super-easy and quick.
