Comments about Crucial 2GB kit (1GBx2) Upgrade for a Dell OptiPlex GX280 (Desktop and Mini-tower Models) System:

Purchased the pair for a Dell optiplex GX280 desktop - I had to upgrade the BIOS (way out of date circa 2004) before the machine would recognize the sticks, but now it is lightning fast.

Comments about Crucial 2GB kit (1GBx2) Upgrade for a Dell OptiPlex GX280 (Desktop and Mini-tower Models) System:

This was an upgrade to a computer forensic workstation. The increased memory and the speed of the memory increased large data processing. The only problem during the install is that since the sticks are lined on both sides with metal heat sinks, pressing them into the memory slot caused some pain. They need to include a rubber liner to protect your skin.
