gameing rig's wouldn't be the same without this bad boy. better if you have a window but the perfomance is tiptop. kits can fail but its good to know some company's still stand behind what they make. i will definitly look for crucial ram next build...

Yes this memory looks cool! And that is all it does. There is a slight voltage difference between RAM with no lights! This can cause you computer to run Hotter! It is great backup memory for testing that your motherboard RAM slots have power but that is about it.

I ordered two kits for my quad-core system and have not experienced any issues at all. The LEDs are great although I can't see them since I don't have a windowed case. Definitely recommended!

I have had a headache getting these to work properly. Email from Crucial states:

These are performance RAM and must be manually set. They will not run properly with the AUTO settings. Settings are as follows:

RAM Voltage: 2.0 volts
4=CAS Latency=TCL
4=RAS# to CAS# Delay=tRCD
4=RAS# Precharge=tRP
12=RAS# to Activate to Precharge=tRAS

I am still trying to get these to function without erroring out my machine.

Besides its beauty, is one of the best performing and stable memory I have used; both at stock and overclock settings.
No once I encounter an issue while running on its different settings.

There okay I guess, just very hungry Memory. Must be set to 2.2v in bios, if left on auto, get random Blue screens.
Though for the price, there a bargain.
I'm at 50/50 like nor dislike
