Used on MSI p35 Neo 2; Core2 Quad q6600; XP pro sp.3; 4GB (2x2GB) Ballistix Tracer. Ran beautifully for the first year, then started producing memory crashes. Suspect overheating, because when I use only one stick (2GB), the system stabilizes and runs great on either stick for weeks without power down.

I installed 8 GB of Ballistix Tracer memory in 2 high performance ASUS MB's. Both workstations had intermittent BSOD failures over several months;spent hundreds of hours debugging drives,OS,RMA MB etc. Eventually problem was found to be these defective memory modules; once I threw out this memory and replaced it they have run like champs for over 6 months. I wound never buy this brand.

In my book there is no other memory but Crucial Technologies. I have been using Crucial memory for over 10 years. Crucial memory is in every PC I own and I also install it in every PC I build. Crucial Technologies is the best of the best, top of the line. For me there is no other choice regardless of price. I am a loyal customer and will remain one.

I've already had Corsair Twin XMS2, but has to run at 2.1V for 4-4-4-12 timing. This Crucial can run 4-4-4-12 just 2.0V which is good. However, I've already known Crucial for short time, its performance doesn't disappoint me. I plan to use it for overclocking. I just want to know how far it can go. By the way, blue LED underneath is great for my computer case. I like it at all...
