I've spent over $4,000 on my new rig. Crucial are outstanding in every regard. The best company I've dealt with for this new build. My mate ages ago had his RAM fail. Crucial RMA'd new RAM no questions asked. He gave the 2 x 1GB DDR1 Crucial Ballistix Tracers to me when they arrived. I have been using it for about 3 years. Very reliable & robust (Micron IC's).There was no hesitation chosing Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR3. With other computer parts, I had to compare to decide what was the right component for me.It was very easy to purchase. I clicked at the bottom of Crucial's homepage.. (Shop/International). It took me through a process of which motherboard I had etc & chose the compatible RAM for me. The fun part was chosing the colour. My rigs theme is black & red so I chose black (BL3KIT25664TN1608).[...]I dealt with customer service & they were excellent. Why Crucial have no resellers in Australia is beyond me. Crucial 'is' the benchmark for all other RAM vendors.

I bought a pair of these tracers for my new build. These modules are pretty fast, and just plain pretty (according to my sisters) when operating.
The only drawback was that one module was DOA and had to be RMA'd.
But I have both modules in now. I think I'll slap in two more when I upgrade my OS. I'm still runnng XP which reports 2.75 GB. I suppose since I have a 2GB Video card installed?! In any case these are sweet and run pretty quick at 1600MHz! I have never been so smooth!
