If you only have one gig of memory, I HIGHLY suggest you upgrade to 2 GIG as I did. Performance is much better and no more frozen apps as you wait for the app you selected to page back into memory.
After boot up, I was using 735meg of memory. Start an app and one gig is gone.
Easy to install? you bet!! Pop out the old and pop in the new. It only slides into the slot when it's oriented correctly.
