Comments about Crucial 2GB kit (1GBx2) Upgrade for a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe System:

Bought this not realizing that it had LEDs all over it. Oh well.
It worked fine for a couple months, and then started giving random BSOD errors, and resulted in corrupting my hard disk's data.

After some research it appears most people couldn't even run it without crashing without manually setting the timings. I've heard sites claim that the ballistix line was designed to counteract these kind of problems, but to be honest, this is the first set of RAM (of many brands) to do this.

I've also heard that the lights have something to do with this problem.

Again, while it worked fine for ahwile, it turned out dangerous in the end. I hope the rest of the ballistix line doesn't act like this.
