I had random reboots and BSOD's on a new system and determined it was the ram even though Memtest found no problems. Replaced it with a cheap set of Crucial's economy line memory and it was stable. Put this ram into another machine and it worked flawlessly for months. Then, it started BSOD'ing and crashing. This time Memtest found many errors. From the time I clicked "send" for an RMA and the time I got my new sticks was INCREDIBLE! Thus, even after having to go through the RMA process I am still using Crucial and will continue to use them. As I said, decent memory, but GREAT customer service!

Bought 2 of these for dual channel config. One died in less than a year. Second one also failed to pass Memtest86. My server kept bluescreening and rebooting itself constantly until I figured out what the problem was. These mem sticks were the culprit. Sent them in for RMA but haven't received replacements yet and it's been about 2 weeks now.

Great RAM been using it for 6 months now. only one stick has died.

I had two of these running in a CAD/CAM station. The applications used were demanding but no more so than heavy gaming for 8 hours a day. Both sticks failed within one year. I've never seen memory fail and it was odd to see both go at the same time. Tested independently they both had errors. We lost some data due to BSODs but this story has a happy ending. I sent the modules back to Crucial and they sent me two brand new modules with no questions asked. The lifetime warranty works out in the end.

My computer showed a drastic increase in performance when I installed the modules (4 X 2GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400). Even though Windows XP Professional 32-bit does not recognize the additional memrory above 3.5GB it does seem to reserve some of it giving me the full 3.5GB as noted in the task manager. The moduleds were simple to install, only taking approximately 5 minutes (most of that was to get the case cover off and pop out my old modules).
Comments about Crucial 2GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400,:
Only issue i am ahving atm is not getting all the 4 gb to be read by my motherboard. Prolly nothing for the actual product but only see 3.25 gb out of the 4 of 2 2gb sticks. So trying to figure that out. but overi like it

One of the pair of modules I had purchased about eight months ago threw ocassional errors on test #7 of Memtest86+. This happened even when I significantly relaxed memory timing from the built-in EPP numbers.
Both modules are now running interleaved at EPP timing (4-4-4-12), at nominal voltage (2.0V), on an MSI DKA790GX Platinum motherboard supporting an AMD 64 dual processor (code named Brisbane) at 3.1 GHz. No errors encountered, so I couldn't be happier.

I've only been building pc's for a little over a year now. From the beginning I started with Crucial and will continue to stay with them. They sell great products at good prices. This ram really sped up my Vista Ultimate desktop. Had them about a month now and no performance issues. I would recommend Crucial to anyone looking for a ram upgrade.

This memory is excellent. Installed smoothly with not too much pressure, works well, good timings. Be aware that 2.0V is not standard memory voltage, (1.8V is), so you will have to adjust the voltage in your bios (seems some reviewers didn't realize that, it threw me the first time I bought 2.0V memory as well).
Since crucial.com was created, I've only bought non-crucial memory three times, and all three have failed. I've bought crucial memory four times, and never had a problem. I'm getting tired of replacing the other stuff (even under warranty), so I decided to buy new crucial memory instead.

Combined these two sticks with two Red ones with the same specs but also with the blinking LEDs. Set voltage to 2.0 as suggested and all is well.
No problems experienced.

Well i used Crucial memory from the start when it came with my bare bones kit. When I was ready to upgrade I did a lot of resaerch and found trust and comfort in the Crucial name. I enjoyed the information supplied bt their website and figure why not buy memory from the people producing it. Latency is low and I experienced a 50% decrease in memory usage currently running at 22%. My only regret is not getting the DDR2 PC2-8500 which would allow my athlon 6000 to run at 1000mhz instead of 800 mhz. Other than that they delived, installed and were effective imediatly.

Using my previous 2gb budget kit I was having major stability issues in gaming, especially with WoW. A friend recommended Crucial so I upgraded to this 4gb combo and overall system and gaming performance is phenomenally better. Pricing was excellent.

Good performance, but the 2 units I received were slightly below spec, hence the 4/5 score.
Manually set to 5-4-4-12 for best performance. The official spec for this memory is 4-4-4-12, but it does *not* work on my Intel DG965SS board.

Ok... so 2 years ago I bought an ASUS p5n-32sli mobo. When I purchased the mobo I also purchased 2 gb of Corsair ram. Everything was ok till I decided to buy another 2 gb to bring myself to 4 gb. Running Vista x64 Ultimate. Was getting mem errors and blue screens all over. Got tired of the blue screens and purchased ram certified for my mobo. Since it was so cheap I bout 8 gb of it. I threw the crucial ram in, booted up. And ya know, I've been a vista basher since day 1, but ever since i put this ram into my machine I have yet to get any blue screens, CTD's with wow and war. WOOT! my PC has never been this stable. If your using a mobo with a 680i chipset, this is the mem you wanna buy hands down.

What can I say except that Crucial is a great company with great RAM. Shipping was fast. I bought the 4GB kit for use with Vista Ultimate 64bit and it works flawless. I do a lot of gaming and some multimedia editing and it works great. If your OS is 64bit get at least 4GB if you can.

Vista x64 works perfectly on them. Overclock FSB to 1600 with QX6850 and 680i and it ran for weeks and I even loaded the O/S on this setting. The Raptors really clack now.

I have always used Crucial and have never been dissapointed.
System performance is stable after overclocking RAM to meet increased fsb & cpu loads. I loosened it up to 5-5-5-15 and it runs like champ. I am very happy with this pair and will always buy Crucial.
