I was a novice at purchasing and installing memory into my home computer. I found that retailers gave me conflicting advice and that the same memory cards usually cost twice as much or more than the same ones on the Crucial site. The site offers so much easy to follow guidance on selecting the correct memory and additional information on installation that I had confidence in the product even before I recieved it.[...]the most difficult part of instalation was getting the cover off my CPU.I have and am very happy to continue recommending the Crucial site to anyone purchasing memory for their computer.

These 2* 1GB @ 6400s went into a church computer that had a good CPU, but only 2* 256 @3200. Their benchmark was the loading time for QuickBooks. It went from a 90 second load to a 13 second load, with no other changes at that time.

Although my computer (VISION) wasn't listed, I could provide the INTEL motherboard serial number and the customer service rep was able to ship the correct 2 gig kit that installed and performed perfectly. There's a noticeable improvement in performance.
