Comments about Crucial 2GB kit (1GBx2) Upgrade for a ASUS P5K-E System:

I use this memory in a ASUS P5K-E mainboard and have done so since May/2008 with no issues at all. I have read that some users had issues with this product, but I have had great success with the 2 GB kit (2 x 1gb) that I purchased direct from Crucial. I have been installing Crucial memory in the many systems that I have built during the past 10+ years and have yet to receive any defective products. One of my computers is 5 1/2 years old and is still running on the original Crucial 1gb memory kit (2 x 512mb) that was installed when new. I've since added another identical kit with the same great results.
