The installation really wasn't that difficult, but I didn't know how hard to push on the memory to attach it properly. I installed it, booted up and NOTHING. I was really bummed. Then I opened it back up and used the eraser of a pencil to push it in securly. Worked like a charm.

The speed I have from adding 3 more gig (total of 4 now) is amazing. I really do feel like I got a new computer. Wish I had purchased this a long time ago. Well worth the money.

Works fine on late 2007 iMac. The Crucial memory configurator thing figured out the correct memory to use, and the price was competitive. It gave me peace of mind that the memory specs were appropriate for my computer. Note that old iMacs have a 3GB limit, so make sure to check your current configuration and only buy just enough to get you to 3GB.

I have a Mac Intel PC and run Parallels for certain Windows programs. I have always had speed problems especially switching from Mac to Windows. I increased my RAM from the originally installed 1Gb (2x500Mb) to 3Gb using a 1GB and 2Gb upgrade memory from Crucial. It worked like a charm and my speed and performance improved greatly. I should have done this long ago.

I installed 3 gb of memory to replace the stock 1 GB (2x512) memory. Installation was a breeze. Before the upgrade my imac would sometimes not recover from sleeping and also at times the display would grey-out and say I needed to restart (very frustrating). I looked up the problem online and found it was most likely a memory problem. I upgraded with new memory and the problem is fixed. The computer also runs a bit faster now as well.

Dealing with 6-7 files open across Illustrator and Photoshop all in 300+dpi for print really bogged down my work iMac. It is able to handle up to 3GB of ram, so i got one of the crucial 2GB sticks to boost the handling of these types of tasks. Works great, could tell the difference in boot time, and the ability to switch between open files, and continue working. Just what I was looking for.

I'm using a Imac and use it for digital pictures. My computer was slowing down during software start up or when multiple applications were running. I maxxed the ram and now it's like a new machine again. To bad my significant other can't have their ram upgraded.

I needed extra RAM to speed up my MAC Leopard so I could run Parallels with Windows XP at the same time.

As soon as I started the machine after installing the extra RAM the machine was faster and it took less than a minute to open Windows XP and QuickVerse, a large Bible Program.

I got this 2G module to upgrade to 3G or memory on my 24" imac 2.16Ghz processor. Got the module for a fraction of the cost and it is completely compatible with my system. The computer runs much smoother and I Can open more graphic intensive applications without getting any jitters. Everything just flows now.
