Using the crucial memory upgrade tool was quick and easy, then purchased the recommend memory modules, this was in the afternoon, they arrived by post next morning and were installed in around 10 mins, performance was much improved, all round a very good experience.

I bought the kit of this (2x this) as it was recommended, but for some reason only 1 stick would work on my computer (3GB in total, 2GB already in it, 1GB from here) so I just gave the other 1GB to my sister and all was well :D 2 computers aided in 1, how wonderful :P

2 additional GB of RAM has offered a modest improvemnt in performance. Easy to install, no problems, system recognised addional memory. Had hoped for a greater improvement in PC performance but perhaps there are other factors involved that are beyond my technical knowledge.

Had this PC for 2 years and had always intended to increase the RAM from 2GB to 4GB. Alhough it worked fine with 2GB it was sometimes a bit slow with multiple tasks. With the price being quite good and confident with reliability of Crucial (having used before years ago) I bought the extra RAM and it clearly makes a difference. Nothing dramatic but that bit quicker overall, particularly with multiple tasks. Very satisfied. I suspect that if it were possible to instantly change the RAM available during use then the difference would be more obvious.

Bought 2 lots of memory (2GB) as my PC was slowing down. Used Crucial scanning service to identify what space I had on my mother board and what amount of memory they advise. The memory arrived with a instruction leaflet which was a big help. I have never seen the inside of a computer before, but with the info supplied I had fitted the memory and was up and running in less than 20 mins. It was so easy to do.
