I used the Crucial scan to identify the product and fitted it very carefully, following the instructions and it didn't work.
You were very good at replacing it, but the replacement didn't work.

The extra memory revamped my 5 year old Sony Vaio taking it from it's pre installed 256MB to 512MB and the difference is very noticeable. Install was a dream and am very pleased I don't have to get a new laptop.
