Dropped these sticks in my 1.8 single g5 tower. Had 2 gigs , maxed it to 4 and felt a pretty good difference. If you doing music or video I would recommend it .

Going from 768 mb to 4 gb (not 2 gb as noted above) increased my speed to boot up applications and I can now handle large projects, principally music scores, with greater ease. The memory pulled out was a Crucial product and was as good a quality as I could expect.

NOW, what do I do with 768 mb of memory? Any suggestions for use? Be happy to give it away to a non-profit of some sort.

Product worked as advertised. The drawing card was the helpful solutions they provided to find the proper sticks to use. One purchase, plug and play. Just great. Paid a couple of bucks more to the piece of mind to get the right components for my machine and worth every cent.
