I have an older Macbook that had 512mb that was ok until I installed a VPN client for work. Trying to run this and another program made "very" slow. Been putting off installing more memory and have used Crucial several times for PC's, never for a Mac. Macbook is perfect now! And very easy to install.

Very straightforward and is currently working perfectly as I write this. I upgraded from 512M, so the difference in my computer's speed is like night and day; it was worth every penny I paid for it and felt like a bargain even after tax and shipping.

My opinion isn't sophisticated enough to really say how 'good' this RAM is, but it does what I want it to, and for a casual user like me any RAM is as good as any other. Crucial's website made it obvious which upgrade was the right one for my computer, and installing it myself was easy. Great experience overall.

Great product and I recommend viewing Youtube installation guides and reading how to install. I found that my battery does not quite seat as well as it did before installation, other than that, it is a terrific product and my computer is performing better than ever.

Taking this MacBook from a half gig to two gigs makes all the difference. Printing used to take minutes per page, and the user was unable to do any other work until the print job eventually ended. Now printing is instantaneous in the background, while other apps run quickly in the foreground.

The only trick for installing is getting one of those itsy-bitsy tiny Philips head screwdrivers to remove the protective metal strip in the MacBook battery compartment. Officially Apple says you need a size "0", but actually you need the smaller "00" or "000" size.

The memory came within the time specified. Installation was a snap. The memory increased my speed working with all my applications. Bought the memory to boost image manipulation speeds with Aperature 2. Only wish I could ad more memory to my Mac Book.
