I ran 3 scans on different days and got 3 different results and the one I ordered from I need to return now as it was incorrect. That leaves a good deal to be desired as a result, but other than that it seems to be a good place to buy.

Ok, things happen and sometimes things break. It is how you handle it that separates you from the competition. I had 2 Crucial 2GB Memory Modules in my PC. 1 stopped working. I went on the Crucial web site, got an RMA, sent it back, and received a new module very quickly, no questions asked. That is how things are supposed to happen.

Put the memory in a Fry's special from a few years ago. Will run XP into the ground and them move to a 64 bit OS to get the full 4GB

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!! I have a gateway GT5622. The computer came with 3072GB RAM. Two 1gb sticks, and two 512MB sticks. Removed one 512MB stick and installed new Crucial 2GB, 240 pin. Opened up "System", and now says I have 4.50GB RAM. FANTASTIC!! I've read several reviews here that say that the computer will only recognize 4GB of RAM. Don't really understand. I have a feeling if I bought another Crucial 2GB stick, removed the other 512MB stick it'll go up to 6GB RAM. Am I wrong? Fantastic Crucial!!!!

I was having trouble getting my Asus Maximas Formula to run stable. I ran the memory up grade app on the Crucial site and went with there suggested memory.
My computer has been absolutely stable and performance has been out standing since installing the new memory.

My computer recognizes the memory,but I am only able to use 1GB of the new RAM because I'm only running x86 O.S. & processor instead of x64. I should have checked my O.S. with crucial' recommendation. My fault and now it gives me a good reason to upgrade sooner!

The memory is working great and has sped up my computer's performance. Unfortunately it wasn't as easy as plug and play. When I first installed the memory (I got 2 sticks for a total of 4 GB) and booted up my computer it only saw 2.5 GB of memory. I didn't know that Windows XP (32-bit) could only see up to 3 GB. After upgrading my OS to Windows 7 RC (64-bit) the computer saw 3.5 GB... Then I upgraded the BIOS on my motherboard. After that the computer finally saw the full 4 GB! So if you're going over 3 GB, be ready. You might have to do a little extra than just plug it in and go.

I use the RAM to play games, and do design work. I noticed an immense increase in speed for my computer when I upgraded from 1GB to 4GB. Although I am still on a 32-bit OS, and it only recognizes 3 of it I cannot even imagine what it'll be like when I upgrade to 64bit!
The RAM did, however, increase the temperature my computer runs at, and I had to turn the speed up on one of my fans. I suppose that is to be expected.
Great product so far - no complaints. Had it for 2 weeks so far.

I purchased this ram to use in an intel Atom 1.6Ghz mobo for a PC I am building for my grandmother, I chose Crucial because I purchased 2GB of Ballistix ram for my SLI rig & Crucial was very prompt at replacing a stick that happened to go bad after 4 months of use & this is why I chose them for my second purchase, Their [...] & support is excellent! Works fine with both our Win XP and Vista systems. Had best luck with our ATI graphics PCIe card. Did not work with our older nVidia PCIe card and our Vista system.

I had trouble finding 2GB modules that would bring the Intel D946GZIS board up to the advertised 4GB maximum memory. These modules worked great and the price was right. We're running Linux CentOS 5.

High quality compact design fit nicely in my smaller ATX case/motherboard which only provides two memory slots. I was blown away that I was able to get such a high capacity chip for such a low price.
I use this in an Ubuntu Linux server that I put together from a hand me down Core2Duo chip. Dramatic speed improvement over the 1GB I had installed previously and I can work with much larger multimedia files now.

Any time I want to add memory to a machine I will be relying on like my personal computer or a server, I use Crucial memory. Even machines that have problems with other chips perform flawlessly with Crucial products, and that isn't just for a short term either. You can get cheaper memory in any of the box stores, or even at some grocery stores now, but the quality always leaves a lot to be desired. Because of the analysis software, you get the correct modules for your motherboard. You will spend a lot less time running around after parts and a lot more time using your computer![...] I have been a very satisfied Crucial Customer for over 8 years now, and strongly recommend their modules to anyone who will listen to me.

I was having problems with random Blue Screens of Death and that when was I was lucky (sometimes the PC would just shut down with no blue screen).
I replaced the motherboard and processor first (for various reasons), but it didn't fix the problem. However, replacing my Cosair memory with Crucial did the trick.
Crucial has never given me problems in the past and fix my problems this time. I'll never stray again. Promise.

Ordered a 4 gig upgrade (2x2gig), wow how my machine runs now. Checked out a competitor cause a friend recommends. Their price for "guaranteed compatibility" was actually a few dollars higher. I am sold on Crucial, Micron, or Kingston.
The scanner that analyzes and recommends is super.

I am used to getting memory from Crucial in a static bag. This memory was packaged in a non-static blister pack. A bit disconcerting to an engineer that is used to handling electronic components "static safe".

I was very please to find a site to search for compatable memory for specific motherboards. The bonus was the price. The price I received was very competative with most other sites, but this memory was garanteed to work. Other sites say make sure YOU check for compatability. Why go anywhere else to purchase memory? This is the site for all my memory purchases.
