I'm at least technically savvy and the mac-mini install wasn't that tough. The memory clipped right in and the performance from have 1GB and then having 2GB was enormous. It has eliminated all the slowness my wife was experiencing on the mini...

I must run several applications at one time while doing research for quoting products for my customers. My computer was taking quite a while for programs to load[...]the computer booted up and showed the new memory installed. My laptop is now running like new.

It took me three tries to get the memory seated
correctly. You really have to push very hard to
get it in there properly. Once I realized this,
it worked fine. I think that the memory made
specifically for the Mac might slip in easier.

[...] I was concerned that installation would be difficult despite watching a video and reading the manual on line - but nooo. (Their tip that you really have to apply some pressure was very important. I didn't apply enough the first time and my machine didn't recognize that memory. I opened the back again, pushed the cards in more firmly and Voila! Fast Toshiba.I've never done this before, but now I want to upgrade every old machine I have! Crucial matched my machines to exactly the right memory. I now have a 3 year old Toshiba that speeds through applications without a hitch. This was so easy, I wish I'd done it sooner.I ordered more memory for my little Acer this morning. I'll keep trusting Crucial.

The memory did increase my speed. However since adding it, my notebook would shutdown for no reason. After restoring it back to it's factory state and fighting with it for months, it hit me about the memory upgrade. The shutdowns were numerous to where it would shutdown 2 or 3 times in 10 minutes. I finally put back the original memory and it hasn't shutdown once and it's been over a day since I switched back to the original memory.

I will be trying to exchange or get my money back as the memory has proven to be the problem causing my shutdowns.

Upgrading my laptop RAM from 512MB to 2GB was just what I needed to speed up memory-intensive tasks like photo editing. The memory works like a charm. My computer works a lot better now. Although the only thing that bothers me is that when I check the amount of RAM, I says 1.94 GB, other than that it was worth the money I spent.

Pros: Relatively cheap for laptop ram. Great quality. I bought this to speed up my underpowered Windows Vista laptop ( as most of them seem to be). Vista immediately recognized the ram & at the right timings. Works great. Now I hae 2 gigs in my laptop & it's definitely an improvement.

Cons: None.
