4 GIG minimizes page swapping that was seriously slowing down the computer and increased boot up time and overall performance. My laptop (HP Pavilion tx1000)runs better than new now. I would strongly reccomend Crucial as a first choice when shopping for memory upgrades. The web site automatically identified the correct memory and made the shopping easy and fast. Good job Cricial!

I went from 2GB's to 4 GB's of RAM in my HP tx1220us. What a difference! I'm enjoying Vista a whole lot more now. I would recommend Crucial any day, any way!
