The memory upgrade was very easy to install, I own an early model mini mac, so the memory is located just inside the cover. The whole process from shutdown to restart with 1GB was done within 5 mins.

Using the Crucial.com website it just guided me through the whole process and I was assured that the memory I was ordering was the correct type (MacMini). Couldn't have been simpler ordering the RAM. The only hard part was installing it, but that is down to how Apple designed the Mac Mini, not Crucials fault at all. Very happy - would use again and recommend to others.

If you have heard its difficult to insert memory into a mac mini don't worry - it took only a couple of minutes and is easy. You just need a flat blade (paint scraper is good) to open the case (no screws).

Its made a big difference to the performance

Upgraded memory on Mac Mini from 512 to 1024 at same time as moving to OS X Tyranosaurus, or whatever they are calling it this week.

It works. It was easier to install on the Mac Mini than I expected (the web makes it sound difficult). It isn't.
