Low price, big impact - easy and quick to install; works immediately upon restart. Only a 1 Gig boost, to 3 GB (all my machine can take) but immediately noticed faster response. One thing that surprised me, and maybe it's my imagination, but photos viewed on the Aperture photo software appear to be sharper/higher resolution when viewed.
I will definitely, immediately upgrade RAM in my next machine with Crucial products - can't beat the value!

Used it to upgrade an Imac (2007) and it worked first time with no hiccups. Had previously used another company, some off brand, was burned after 3 installs was either not accepted by the mac, no improvement or just didn't work. Yet the crucial work great. Package was easy to open ( didn't need a knife or any thing to cut it open and it just works.

Software on website determined the type of memory my iMac needed. I have 2 slots, and some iMacs need their memory upgraded in pairs. Turns out my model didn't, so I left one 512MB in place and replaced the other with a 2GB memory stick, for a total of 2.5GB.

You have to push the memory into the slot with a bit of force, but that's an Apple thing.

It's a family iMac, so we use fast user switching. The extra memory helps a lot. It should also help when I try bootcamp with Windows 7.

Based on recommendations from the Apple Store, I upgraded my iMac from 1 GB to its maximum of 3GB using Crucial's 1GB and 2GB memory modules so that hopefully I could successfully run Parallels Desktop 5.0. It works beautifully now. I would definitely recommend upgrading the RAM if you're trying to run this application. Another plus is that the Apple Store recommended Crucial memory modules & installed them for free.

I bought the extra memory(2GB) to install in one of 2 slots on my late 2006 Imac. In trying to install it in the top slot, it got stuck and I needed to use needle nose pliers to get it back out. I then installed in the lower slot by forcing it in. Thankfully it worked and the computer is running much faster.

For about $80 I upgraded our late 2006 iMac from the 1GB RAM it shipped with to it's 3GB maximum.

For an OS boot (Snow Leopard)and load of Safari, iTunes + Peter Frampton song, Adobe CS4 Photoshop + psd file, and iMovie it reduced load times from 160 sec to about 110 sec. Thats about 32% faster.

Photoshop brushes render visibly faster and my HDD is no longer spinning like a food processor. Memory is about the biggest bang for buck upgrade you can make. This was older DDR2 667MHz so pretty cheap.

I bought from Crucial because of their established reputation. No regrets. Price was good. Memory arrived in a few days and worked as it should. This was a worthwhile expense to make the iMac viable for another few years.

I do a lot of video editing and graphic design work. I originally had 2gb of RAM, but wanted to max out my system to 3gb. I wasn't expecting much difference but Premiere, Encore, and After Effects all run much more smoothly. No more crashes in Encore and Render times seem to be much enhanced. Installation was incredibly easy and I had no problems with my system recognizing the new RAM.

I've only had it installed for a short time with a 1GB , for 3GB total up from 1GB total. I can open multiple browsers & numerous windows on each. I was so busy one day that I didn't realize I had about 20 windows open on Foxfire & another 14 on Safari & there was no slow down in performance. Prior to this upgrade when I opened more than maybe 5 on Safari & 8 on Foxfire & it slowed very noticeably. Also Photos work is much faster, that really used to bog my system down. I was also swayed by all the good reviews I read. The one or two bad reviews had me nervous as a first time buyer, but I could not be anymore pleased.

I was a bit disappointed with the product.I thought that my computer would show an increase in speed between applications, but it seemed to lag. I use multiple programs such as iWeb, Itunes, and Iphoto to name a few, with no noticeable performance.

Service was good from Crucial but the module was slightly different in size from original Apple module though it did fit. Would have been a better product had it worked after installing it but it didn't. Tried to save $ by ordering non-Apple memory but will not be trying it again.

I only buy memory from Crucial because I know it will fit without any problem. Did I mention that you can't beat their prices? I searched high and low to make sure I was getting a good deal. I even checked[...] and Crucial still had a better selection, lower price on shipping and the product and Crucial has there "memory finder" tool that guaranties you get the right product.
