Easy and fast installation. This purchase took an older laptop from 1 gig to 2 gig for Windows 7. 2 gig was the max that computer could see, or I would have brought it up much more.

The performance increase was OK, but with only 2 gig the performance was still a bit slow.

The only negative is that I paid as much for this 2 gig upgrade as I did for an 8 gig upgrade on another machine. I guess a SIM is a SIM is a SIM.

Don't waste another minute waiting for an easy and affordable memory upgrade. It doesn't get any easier. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. Overall performance and speed appeared to have doubled or trippled. Its not necessary to invest in a brand new PC or Notebook to increase performance.

The only problem I have with them is that their experts often simply cannot cross-reference memory based upon the computer model.

I know they have a testing program but when it is your job to order the memory based upon specification for laptops you support that are actively used in the field, it is highly inconvenient to have to have the end-user come in for such a scan or try to have them run the scan themselves.

I added two 1GB sticks to my HP Pavilion Laptop (zd7000), for 2GB total, which is the maximum that this computer will recognize. This was an upgrade from 512MB of memory. Even though the computer has a 3GHz processor, the lack of memory made running applications tedious with frequent system freezes. Not anymore! The computer runs as a new machine with the increased memory, saving me from having to buy a new laptop. Crucial provided a great product at an unbeatable price, and I am "completely satisfied" with my purchase.
