Amazing improvement in speed for half a day. Next morning, computer crashed and lost Outlook files and all user presets. All was backed up so it was recovered. Ran memory check program on new memory and found errors. Crucial is replacing the memory but it still cost a lot of time to fix the problem and I have to pay to return the faulty product. LESSON - DON'T ADD MEMORY WITHOUT BACKING UP FIRST. IF POSSIBLE, RUN A MEMORY CHECK PROGRAM BEFORE USING THE COMPUTER

After receiving multiple memory errors I decided it was time to bite the bullet and upgrade my 1GB system. I added two 1GB modules (thanks Crucial for easy installation instructions) and have improved system performance significantly. On another positive note, I haven't gotten a single memory error since the upgrade. This is my third memory purchase from Crucial and I wouldn't hesitate to order again when I need a memory upgrade in the future.

I used youtube video to install, instructions wern't clear. Didn't perform as well as I expected, I thought it would be better than it is. Price was ok, you get what you pay for. I use my computer for mainly entertainment and research, I am now able to open a number of windows at once, but really it just makes my computer run like new, no better, no worse. Slow mailing it out, was a week before I got it, plastic package hard to open, thought I'd break the boards before I got the plastic cut away. I am not a computer guru, normal 1st owner, next time I need RAM I'll look around a bit before settling. Never ask me to tell you what I think 'cuz I'll tell you,LOL! :)
