Well it certainly didn't show a dramatic increase in speed, however through the last few days its sped up allot. Installation went as planned, however there was an issue for my macbook to recognize it to start with. All working after a call to Apple.

bumping the memory from 1gb to 4gb allows me to run windows xp apps under parallel as if they were native, with super fast behaviour (i also installed an SSD at the same time although not from Crucial)

ordered it because i was getting annoyed that my macbook could not run design programs well because i only had 1gb of RAM. so far so good everthing seems ok it was very easy to install, the only problem is making sure that you discharge all the static THATS IT!!!!!. A must have and VERY cheap!!

Does what it says on the tin. Crucial provide a handy application to check which type of memory you need which takes out the guesswork. MUCH cheaper than Apple and works just the same. Would get five stars but only bought recently so don't know how long it will last.

Recently bought two modules to upgrade my Macbook from 1GB to 4GB. Once they had arrived it took my no more than 10 minutes to unwrap and install.

The performance of my Mac was quick before, but now it just flies. With multiple applications open; such as Word, iPhoto, iTunes, Safari etc there is no noticeable lag. It even performs well with my Logic 8 software.

And I can't forget to mention the price, quality product at a very competitive rate; I would definitely recommend Crucial memory to anyone looking to upgrade their Macbook.

Crucial RAM Upgrades are a must for anyone wanting the best performance from their memory hungry applications. You must remember to discharge all the static from your body, and not move around too much during installation. Fleeces in particular hold a lot of static, so take it off before you start!

Brilliant!, posted quickly! came when i wanted it too!
My MacBook is running alot faster compared to when i had the the two 512 cards. games run alot faster! other things such as logic 8 and all the music things run awesome two!!

Definately worth getting!

and its cheap :)

I used this product to help my macbook run Logic Studio a little faster and there has definatly been a noticeable difference in its performance! Especialy when i'm using rewire applications as well as firefox etc
