As applications are brought out that are ever more memory hungry (and not wishing to buy a new PC just yet), my 1Gb business PC was starting to crawl, so extra memory was the perfect solution. The Crucial scan tool identified what I needed, I bought it, installed it with hardly any effort (okay, I had to push harder than I thought to get both of the catches to connect) and the PC now works as fast as it did when I bought it 4 years ago. I may still buy more (the max in my PC is 3Gb), but at the very least it's allowed me to put off the time significantly when I have to splash out serious money for a new office PC.

Don't forget that anti-static wrist strap before you remove the modules from the packaging. Purchased 2 x 1mb; installed as a matching pair in less than 5 minutes and worked first time.
