Having never installed memory in a PC I needed help in selecting and installing the right memory to upgrade my husband's desktop PC. I was able to find the right parts to buy online along with instructions on how to install them. I also utilized the help to identify what was currently in our machine. Dealing with Crucial made it painless and easy to upgrade the PC. THANKS!!

Installed on our Service Bench desktop. Only has two slots for a max of 2GB, unlike our Dell desktops w/4slots & 3GB max. And it was almost equal the price as the 2 kits for the Dells! Strange. Anyhow, taking the PC from 512MB to 2GB of RAM made a startling difference. Now the Service Techs can run multiple applications and download firmware/software upgrades from manufacturers websites with a lot fewer hiccups, and a lot less click-and-wait, click-and-wait. Crucial fixed everything but HP's lack of slots for RAM.
