My laptop was giving me a real headache in terms of constant lagging and little to no power. Had 256mb originally and decided to buy 2x512mb sticks from crucial. Must say the laptop feels much better and the headaches have stopped. Bit expensive but that's because they are quite old, nonetheless would definitely do it again if I had the chance.
