With so many RAM units available,I was expecting to have to try this a couple of times.Especially since I was buying for two different Laptops.But both upgraded easily and there is a marked improvement. That rainbow wheel is not annoying me on a daily basis anymore!

Excellent way to squeeze even better performance from MB. Took me longer to unscrew the cover than to be upgraded-up-and-running...

So happy with the product that I wanted to get a couple more for the Mini9, but I realised I had as much as I could fit in...oh well, great product anyway...

Installed easily and the extra GB means by 3 year old Macbook is more able to cope with multiple programmes. I haven't really noticed the bump, the speed is now back with how I expect apps to open and close.

Well worth it for the money.

Not surprisingly increasing the memory of my Macbook has made it able to cope with the increased number of applications I am throwing at it. Specifically I installed Parallels which now runs at a reasonable speed - which was not the case before.
Installation was slightly fiddly, but straightforward - seating the memory cards properly being the important and nerve-racking step; but once installed the machine recognised it without any further intervention.
Be warned though, installing the new memory effectively voided my warranty - not an issue for me, but for others it may be.
