I run Photoshop CS4 and process hundreds of 16MB RAW files in various photo folders. I saw a substantial increase in display and processing speed with the 2GB upgrade (going from 2 to 4GB). I'm sure things would be faster with a new PC with a faster processor, but the upgrade definitely gives me much better performance with my existing hardware.

I have a Dell Dimension E520 which had only 1GB (2x512K) of ram. My operating system is XP and there was a noticeable drop in performance after upgrading to Office 2007. After installing the matched set of 1GB memory modules I now have 3GB of ram. The modules took more force to seat than I expected but I didn't have any trouble installing them. The computer recognized the memory immediately and the resulting performance is great. I'm quite happy with the upgrade.

I was having a problem with programs crashing or "not responding" in Windows Vista. I originally bought my Dell with 1 GB of memory, but as time went on, and I added more programs, it was starting to run slow.

I've added 2 more GB's of memory, and the computer is lightning fast! No more crashes, much faster boot up speed, restarts, and shutdowns!

It was very easy to find the right RAM and all my options with the system scanner. I was able to get the right part at the right price fast and easy. This is the fourth computer I have upgraded with Crucial. Other vendors expect me to know all the specific details. Crucial does that work for me. Didn't expect much performance increase from a recently reformatted PC with a mostly empty hard drive. It's the desktop we use for all our shipping and some inventory at work and it is now more stable, a little quicker to respond, and starts up/shuts down a little faster. Went ahead and maxed out the system at 4GB RAM, and 32-bit XP Pro really does only recognize 2.99GB of what was installed. No problemo. This'll keep us from buying another office PC for quite a while. Solid product.
