Took some time to figure out how to install memory and then found the information on crucial website that could have helped me if I read it before. I had 768 MB of ram and increased it to 1024; didn't really see any improvement in speed. It may be the processor speed is "max'd out." Adding the memory can't hurt; just didn't speed up the computer.

My computer is old and really need more RAM memory. The new memory card really did the trick. It's like having a new computer. I can't believe how fast it is now compared to how it was. The computer at our Twp office is old, and no money to buy a new one. It takes a full minute to load a word processor program. It has 256k of RAM, running windows XP. I've used Crucial's memory scan of my personal computers many times. Crucials website will tell you EXACTLY the memory you need, out of the hundreds out there. When it comes it always works, just as it did this time.

The price was right, it came sooner than expected, and I'm glad I looked up the manual on how to replace the memory. It took a bit of courage, but after practicing with the old memory to get it back in, and moving the tabs on the side half way up and a firm push, this computer idiot managed to install it herself. My dinosaur works again!

This may not be the fault of Crucial. On the web a company analyzed my PC and found that I had three modules of 256 Mbyte memory. They said that I should remove one of the 256 Mbye modules and replace it with a 512 Mbyte memory, which they proceeded to sell me (via Crucial).

This could not be done in my PC ... it will only accomodate the 256 Mbyte module. So I was sold a memory which was unusable.

Crucial Response: The Dimension 2350 will take up to 512MB per slot.

I was working with 256mg of ram and needless to say it was slooow. The product installed very easily, the hardest part was figuring out I how to open the case. Snapped the modules in, ran a test, and closed it up. Amazing difference in speed. (Especially since I still have dial-up)

Motherboard had one empty memory slot (out of 2). New Crucial unit wouldn't go into it, so I moved the existing to the empty slot, and put the Crucial in the newly-vacant slot. Now everything works, and the speedup is noticeable.

The easy to use scanning tool told me just what I needed to upgrade the memory in a computer that was running slower than molasses.
