Photoshop is faster. Development tasks like compilation also seem less sluggish.

I as a little hesitant about installing memory to my relatively new imac but found the ordering and installation quite painless (apart that I could not find the plastic attachment for assisting removal of the old memory on one module at first which could have caused panic). That was a problem with the imac, not the new memory
