First thing is that Crucial make it difficult to buy the wrong set of chips!! their system appears to be foolproof in identifying exactly which RAM your system uses. [...]. The instructions were exact and relevant, as a result the process was quick, and in no time my iMac was faster. ( Running heavy duty interactive gaming software, - iMovie and Skype applications). It was a good experience and I will have no hesitation in shopping with them again, or recommending their service to others.

Jumping from 2GB to 3GB makes a huge jump in speed on my Alu iMac 24". Makes running Windows XP in VMware really usable now. Only annoying thing is that my Mac came with 2 x 1GB, and only has two slots; so I'll have to buy another 2GB to get it to 4GB ...

I as a little hesitant about installing memory to my relatively new imac but found the ordering and installation quite painless (apart that I could not find the plastic attachment for assisting removal of the old memory on one module at first which could have caused panic). That was a problem with the imac, not the new memory
